Built new, two minutes from Guntur Railway Junction
A calm, considered space to land in
Step off 2nd Lane and the lobby sets the tone for the stay: navy leather lounge seating, warm wood-panelled ceiling beams and a marble accent wall under soft downlighting. It reads more boutique than budget, without losing the warmth of a family-run hotel.
It's a genuinely useful corner of the hotel, not just a waiting area — guests use it to catch up on email before an early train, meet someone before heading up to a room, or just sit with a coffee away from the road noise outside.

Our story
Hotel Leela Imperial opened in Arundelpet with a simple brief: put travellers 200 metres from Guntur Railway Junction into a room that's actually comfortable. Eight room types — twin rooms through VIP suites — are all air-conditioned and run by a compact, attentive team.
Guests come back for the location: a quiet side lane tucked just off the main-road noise, and rooms they describe, unprompted, as spacious and clean. Check-in starts at noon; the front desk never closes, which matters for early trains and late ones alike.
The building is new enough that it still shows — fresh paint, furniture without a scratch on it, fittings that haven't logged years of wear. The small things get attention too: a stocked mineral-water bottle, laundry back the same day.
Downstairs on 2nd Lane, Hotel Leela Imperial Veg Bhavan serves pure-vegetarian Indian food until 11 PM, or you can have meals brought straight to your room as part of a meal plan.

Life on 2nd Lane, Arundelpet
Arundelpet is one of the more walkable parts of Guntur — Google rates it 4.1 — and our stretch of 2nd Lane sits just far enough off Grand Trunk Road to stay quiet, without losing the convenience of being close to everything.
Guntur Railway Junction is two minutes on foot, with home-style eateries like Marvadi Bhojanalaya and Naga Sai Tasty Foods practically at the door and Anand Bhavan a short walk further. It works as well for a late-night arrival off a train as it does for breakfast the next morning.

Made for every kind of traveller
- Solo & business travellers — a quiet Deluxe or Superior king room, reliable Wi-Fi, a desk that's actually usable, and a short walk back to the station for an early train.
- Colleagues & small groups — Twin and Triple Bed rooms keep the group together, without anyone sharing a bed.
- Families — two bedrooms and a living room in the Family Room, a kids' menu, and CCTV, a security guard and a lift that make travelling with children less of a production.
- Longer, more indulgent stays — Suite and VIP Suite guests get a separate living area, a city view, and butler and room service for the length of the stay.
Worth an extra day in Guntur
Guntur has more going on than the two-minute walk to your train would suggest.
